João Marecos is an EU lawyer, qualified in Portugal (and pending registration in the NY Bar following successful completion of all required exams). He has a Masters in Competition, Innovation and Information Law at New York University School of Law.

 

He worked at Linklaters LLP as an Associate, with a focus on Corporate Law, M&A, Competition, EU Law, Intellectual Property, TMT and Data Protection. He headed the legal team at TLDR Global, an advisory company in the blockchain and crypto space, with a cross-jurisdictional focus on Privacy, IP, Global AML/KYC, HR and Commercial agreements, Marketing, and Technology.
